The Directorate of Marketing & Inspection on May 27, 2025, issued a notification inviting comments on the Draft Tradable Parameters for e-NAM.
The following has been stated: -
•A committee has finalized draft tradable parameters for 13 agricultural commodities on the e-NAM platform. Stakeholders are invited to review and provide suggestions or comments. Feedback may be sent by June 11, 2025.
•Draft tradable parameters for Jimikand (Elephant Foot Yam) include standards for defects, skin condition, and sampling procedures, with quality graded into three acceptance ranges. Assayers must record the variety and upload actual lot images for evaluation.
